How Erin's Soap Shop Started!

I started making hot process soap in 2015 in my kitchen using an old hand me down crock pot so that I could save a few dollars a month. It just had three ingredients: lye, water, and coconut oil. Guys... I used this, not just as a body soap, but as shampoo! Yikes!

Now I spend most of my time making artisan cold process soap using moisturizing and luxurious oils (not just coconut oil anymore babeee!). My soaps are not just great for the skin, but they are a form of art. I love that they can brighten any room and bring a smile to anyones face! They make great gifts too.

After spending a year learning all about cold process soap making, I opening my Etsy shop in 2020.

In addition to cold process soap, I also love spending time making bath fizz, whipped soaps, whipped sugar soaps, and more! I can't wait to see what else we add to the shop over the years.
